Sculpture in all its Forms

This bold, artful editorial, captured by Emotions and Math, celebrated the beauty of sculpture across four different mediums — Fashion, Art, Food and Florals.

Imagined, planned, produced and styled by Inner North Studio, it was a love letter to form and design, weaving together elements of surrealism, post-modernism and avant-garde maximalism.

Part one of the shoot was set within the grounds of Pt. Leo Estate’s Sculpture Park (Mornington Peninsula), with the sculptures themselves becoming the backdrop for an array of dramatic scenes. The soft, ethereal morning light was juxtaposed with towering sculptures by Yayoi Kusama, Kaws and other renowned artists.

The shoot featured sculptural gowns from Perple, Lola Varma and Marrow Bridal, and suits by Balmain. Accessories included jewellery from Melbourne designer Hamish Munro and Hannah M, and shoes from Camper.

The floral design, by Soya, was minimalist and architectural, with square, single stem gerberas and whimsical curly allium flowers subtly woven into each scene.

Part two of the shoot was set at Coco Flip’s Melbourne studio and was centred around a wedding banquet table, adorned with quirky, artful food elements including a Yayoi Kusama pumpkin made from bread (by Eggy), and giant spheres of blue cheese and quince (Fine Grazing), complimented by floral creations by Soya.

The goal of this shoot was to push creative boundaries and showcase the beauty and power of art and design in weddings. It will redefine what a wedding can look and feel like, and inspire couples and creatives around the world as we move into 2027.
